There are many styles of yoga to practice but all will help you unwind and remind you to look within for inspiration.

Yoga makes you more aware of your body and, in turn, more conscious of things and those that surround you.

Yoga awakens your senses and transforms your body.  Everyone will experience a different personal pathway, but I believe yoga has a positive impact on everyone who practices.

I practice and teach Prana Flow Yoga.

Prana Flow Yoga

A flow yoga class is a breath-inspired journey that offers a spectrum of rhythms from meditative and rejuvenating to challenging and empowering.

Beginning with the inner and outer melody of breath and music we experience ‘vinyasa’ as a wave, linking breath and rhythm from one movement to the next; a reflection of how we fine-tune our connection to where we are in the moment and the evolution into the next.

Balanced and creative sequencing that integrate the whole body include standing poses, arm balances, twists, hip openers, forwards bends, back bends and inversions, to help create a whole body exploration of alignment, strength, fluidity, vitality and connection.

Contemplation, visualization and deep relaxation complete the flow of our practice.

Meditation

Meditation is a state of being and a process. There are many styles and approaches to meditation however the latest research shows that any meditation practice has significant physical benefits such as decreased blood pressure, lower respiratory rate and reduced muscle tension. The psychological benefits include lowering stress and anxiety, improving concentration and creativity, mental clarity and learning ability.

Most sessions will include simple breathing and body movement, mindfulness and visualisation.
Meditation is accessible, practical, easy and pleasurable. You don’t have to sit cross leg or sit still.

As beginners, we apply and integrate the most accessible practices to our work, life and play that are enhanced by a relaxed alertness and attentiveness. The techniques I share will help you experience a connection with yourself and your everyday life.
