With a corporate background in business and advertising, I opened my postbox a decade ago to receive an invitation to attend a free yoga class at a new studio nearby. It was then that I booked a date with my downward dogging destiny.

My first class revealed yoga had everything I was looking for: get fit, lose weight, heal the body and meet like-minded people.  It was love at first sun salutation.

What began as a yoga class for myself became an inspiration to share the experience with others and lead me to embark on a global adventure.

Training with Vinyasa teacher, Ian Laver, and Power Yoga master, Baron Baptiste, was the start of my teaching journey. As I developed my own practice I found myself drawn to the dynamic practice of Prana Flow Yoga: an energetic, creative, full-spectrum approach to embodying yoga, founded by Shiva Rea.

Having completed over 200 hours of training with Shiva and continued studies with her in Los Angeles and her senior trainer, Twee Merrigan, I encourage students of all levels to be empowered by the experience of Prana Flow Yoga.

My passion for yoga has led me to continue my studies with Universal Yoga master, Andrey Lappa, completing his 300-hour training in Singapore.

Through Chris Haseman, the founder of Fitness Industry Training in Brisbane, I was given the opportunity to build on my understanding of anatomy and physiology and a contemporary approach to well-being through sport science and fitness. I completed my Certificate 4 in Fitness, enhancing my knowledge and approach to energy systems and resistance work.

I hold a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics from Queensland University of Technology and as a qualified Nutritionist and an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), I offer an integrated approach to optimising your health and wellbeing.

I love yoga and I hope that family, friends and anyone with an interest in movement, meditation and nutrition continue to share and thrive on the benefits and positive practices too.
